Job Summary:
As a Part-Time Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for general upkeep, minor repairs, and routine maintenance tasks across the hotel property. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and takes pride in a job well done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine property walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Handle basic repairs including minor plumbing, electrical (changing light fixtures/bulbs), drywall patching, and painting.
- Maintain and service guest rooms (HVAC unit cleaning, fixing furniture, adjusting doors, etc.).
- Assist with upkeep of common areas, exterior grounds, and facility equipment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest and staff maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and tool inventory.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in general maintenance, handiwork, or apartment/hotel upkeep is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or climb ladders for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work a shifting part-time schedule (please specify your availability when applying).
